Ιnstructions for the seedlings transplant

Ιnstructions for the seedlings transplant
  • Transplant the seedlings as soon as possible from the moment you receive them (during the summer transplant them in the afternoon).
  • The soil block shall be "saturated".
  • In case the soil block is dry, dip the tray inside the water (up to the neckplant) for a few seconds in order the block to be watered again.
  • The soil of the field shall be humid but not muddy during the transplant.
  • The holes in the soil shall be opened by hand and the size shall be considered according to the block size of the seedling to be transplanted. Big holes make the plant roots be in the air and be oxidized.
  • The plant shall be covered with soil of approx. 3-4 mm high over the block surface.
  • Water well the plants after the transplant.
  • The next watering shall be done once the level of the soil moisture is reduced.
  • Fertilizer applications with a balanced fertilizer (e.g. 20-20-20) start after the first week.
  • Increase the water quantity per watering after the first ten days but reduce the frequency.
  • Keep the minimal night and day temperatures per vegetal specie during the winter.
  • We do not bear any responsibility, if you do not follow the transplanting instructions.
